E3 2021 reveals the official application, details of all digital performances

E3 2021 quickly approached, and after last year’s show was canceled due to Covid-19 pandemic, this event returned this year as a digital show. Outside some of the main exhibitors will be present, the fact that E3 2021 will be all digital affairs is the only thing that has been confirmed about the show so far. Today, that everything changes, with E3 organizers not only announce cellular applications specifically for performances, but also detailing how E3 content will be sent to viewers.

The entertainment software association – organization behind E3 – said today that the E3 2021 application and online portal “will be the main hub for the duration of the show.” On the online portal and application, viewers will find virtual booths, events are hosted, and even online forums. Media access to online portals will be available from Monday, June 7, while public access will follow behind on Saturday, June 12.

After the portal stays alive to the public, the viewers will use it and the application to access the virtual booth from exhibitors, which is a special event place to be hosted along with VOD content and articles. If you are looking for a big announcement from E3 2021, you will find it in that virtual booth. The portal will also allow participants to create and adjust profiles, chat in forums, hang out in the virtual lounge, and even participate in “gamified show elements” which have their own ranking boards – although it seems more detailed about gamified parts will come later. ,

The E3 live broadcast will also be flowed through the portal and organized by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, Jacki Jing, and Greg Miller. This is where we will see the developer showing off their game after announcing it during the big E3 press program, but we will also be things like industrial panels and press conferences during direct shows too.

Outside the application and hub online, E3 will also broadcast on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. A number of main game companies have been confirmed for the show, including Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Capcom, and Square Enix. We believe that many exhibitors will be disclosed at the time of E3 starting next month, so we will notify you when more news is revealed.
