Jhund Story?
A retired sports-teacher and sport -Thusiast Vijay (60 years) from Nagpur, often find a group of teenage thugs from the slums nearby who roamed their time in playing cards, fighting, smoking, robbing pedestrians. Vijay took the initiative and introduced football to this slum area to channel their energy positively. He wants to change the set of thugs into a disciplined soccer player. It’s not a meaningful task. Although there are many obstacles in transforming non-disciplined homeless themes such as the organized team of discipline, he survives.
He believes that these homeless children have extraordinary skills and have potential. He believes they need to feel the validation and trust to be trustworthy. He corrected a lot and continued the struggle against all obstacles. VIJAY’s vision to change the warravy life of homeless children came true when he took it at another level by entering the biggest football tournament in the world – “homeless football”. Bends and turns, and turbulent times make it impossible possible.
