Restomod Ferrari Testarossa aims for 200 mph

The 80s were a glory day for TV shows and films where the car w*as a character as many as the actor. One of the more iconic 80s cars is Ferrari Testarossa which is displayed in the series “Miami Vice” which is very popular. The Swiss tuning company took the iconic 1980s vehicle and provided a restoration along with several modifications known as restomod.

While Testarossa is of course a fast car in his day, it is not in accordance with the level of performance of supercars with modern standards. A Swiss tuning company called Officine Fioravanti takes what it seems to be a very good condition of Testarossa and makes it faster than new time.

The car will maintain an iconic style outside and includes modifications to improve the driving experience. The main modification is to improve the performance of the 4.9 liter flat cylinder engine. Changes to PowerTrain will include a titanium exhaust system. Cars will also get an increase in stoppage with brembo antilock brakes and traction control.

Handling is being upgraded through an electronic Ohlins component with an anti-roll bar that can be adjusted. This car also gets new wheels and GT3 class racing tires. The tuning company said that he had spilled 260 pounds of heavy cars and hoped to exceed 200 mph. When new, Testarossa came out at 180 mph.

The interior gets rework with new Italian skin and all plastic switchgear, which is known for not holding old Ferrari, replaced with milled aluminum components. Cars will also get a modern infotainment system. It is not clear how many employees are restored and modified from Fioravanti will make or how much it costs. What is clear is that this is a fantastic project, and we can’t wait to see it finished.
